Em parceria com o Cartunista, músico e Graphic Design Guilherme Baldin, a renomada quadrinhista, escritora e ex editora da Panini, Carol Pimentel criou o Studio Patinhas!
Cujo o nome é uma referência não ao pato milionário que todos conhecem, mas as mãozinhas de gatinhos fofos. A página do Studio Patinhas no Facebook inclusive, é recheada de tirinhas com esses adoráveis bichanos.

O estúdio visa oferecer os mais diversos serviços para o mercado editorial, tais como letreiramento, edição, revisão, criação de logo, Design Gráfico, Marketing Digital, criação de conteúdo dentre outras coisas mais. Além de também criar os próprios roteiros e produzir HQs sob encomenda.
Apesar de ser formada em física e quatro outras graduações, tendo sido inclusive diretora da Escola Municipal de Astrofísica de São Paulo, Carol escolheu ser editora da Panini Comics, inicialmente como assistente e depois como sênior, tendo sido a primeira editora mulher de quadrinhos de super-heróis no Brasil. Por suas mãos passaram Homem-Aranha, X-Men e a linha Ultimate.
Carol também foi ganhadora do Troféu HQ Mix no ano de 2018 na categoria novo talento (roteirista) pela Graphic Novel P.O.V. - Point Of View, em parceria com a quadrinhista Germana Viana, responsável pelas belíssimas ilustrações. Ainda em 2018 também participou como roteirista da HQ Gibi de Menininha e publicou o livro Tradução de Histórias em Quadrinhos – Teoria e Prática.
E em setembro deste ano, já como editora chefe do StudioPatinhas, Carol irá fazer uma palestra no XXXIX Semana do Tradutor UNESP/Ibilce. As inscrições já estão abertas.

The most horrendous abuses occurred in the colony of Brazil: natives were enslaved, murdered, tortured and raped in the conquest and early part of the colonial period and later they were disenfranchised and excluded from power. Individual acts of cruelty are too numerous and dreadful to list here. Portuguese Conquistadors in Brazil reached levels of cruelty that are nearly inconceivable to modern sentiments.
Today, Portugal is the Biggest Racist country that i have ever lived in. I feared for my life there and i consider myself lucky that my family got out alive! I have never lived in such poverty (Sopas dos Pobres everyday) 40% unemployment rate and 60% of the population earn less than $932 USD per month, and that’s considered Middle Class here! Within the European Union it is the worst of the worst place to live in.
The bottom line is the bulk of the People in the poor country of Portugal exist in a brainless comma that is fed by Ignorance, anti-Spanish hate, and severe Racism of pretty much everybody that isn’t Portuguese! And, Portugal started the Global Slave Trade in 1441 so it is definitely NOT a safe place for Blacks!!
